Silverking Lodge’s fishing packages include boats, motors, rods, reels, and bait for your fishing excursion as well as all meals, accommodations and transportation on a boat of float plane from Ketchikan International Airport. You can enjoy kayaking, canoeing and hiking to view the area’s picturesque scenery and marine life. You will also want to explore Ketchikan itself, which offers a wealth of attractions, including Dolly’s House Museum and Historic Creek Street. Formerly an infamous brothel, the museum displays artifacts and period furnishings from Ketchikan’s early days. Creek Street’s pedestrian-only wood boardwalks conduct visitors through turn-of-the-century buildings converted into art galleries, gift shops and restaurants. Another worthwhile attraction is the Totem Heritage Center, which displays a collection of 19th century totem poles rescued from abandoned native villages.
